Carmel J. Decker, Esq. concentrates her practice in the areas of employment law,
commercial law, construction law and insurance law. She is an accomplished litigator and has extensive experience
in handling all aspects of complex litigation in state and federal courts.
The recognition that Ms. Decker has received in the area of employment law
has resulted in her becoming a distinguished lecturer in employment matters, including sexual harassment/hostile work environment,
hiring practices and the litigation of employment matters. Ms. Decker also drafts employee handbooks and provides preventive
counseling to employers on a broad spectrum of employment issues.
Ms. Decker received her B.S. in Business Administration from Montclair State
University, cum laude, and her Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law. She was admitted to practice in
New Jersey in 1982 and New York in 1989.
Ms. Decker is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Association
of the Federal Bar of the State of New Jersey and the Professional Liability Underwriting Society.
